Original landscape decorations are always very expensive if you buy them in stores or order from skilled craftsmen. Having shown imagination and having applied a little work, it is possible to independently create unbanal decor. It will not cost a dime. Moreover, you finally get rid of unnecessary things and recycle the remnants of building materials after repair. All in your hands. If they are golden, then even garbage will turn into charming and quite functional country jewelry. Give trash a new wonderful life!

Original flower beds from old things

You can start with the simplest - crafts from old things that have served their term. Surely everyone in the country has a lot of such items, which are said: "There is no need to store, but it is a pity to throw it away." It can be various containers - buckets, watering cans, rusty barrels, as well as children's toys, old clothes, shoes, furniture. Each of these things can become a nice landscape decoration and “work on a new specialty” for at least one, or even several seasons.

The easiest way to make flower beds from trash. Let's look at a few ideas.

For example - a small flower pot from a baby ball. All that is needed is an old ball, an instrument that will be convenient to cut it, and a little patience.

To make such a pot, you only need to wash the rubber ball, carefully cut it in the middle and make small holes in the "bottom" of the new tank. Option - do not hole the ball, but use it as a stand-tray for a small flower pot

The second option - flower beds in old containers. For small flower beds, aluminum and plastic basins, watering cans are useful. If there is a barrel - this is a real treasure. From it you can make a funny figure. In addition to the barrel itself, you will need paints and brushes.

This non-trivial decoration is very simple to make. The old barrel needs to be cleaned of rust, painted, painted, filled with soil, plant flowers in it. All!

Another option for designing the container is cloth or burlap. Basins and barrels can not be painted, but covered with old cloth. If it is monophonic, then a funny pattern will be appropriate.

These figures are made of ordinary barrels covered in burlap. The container is simply “planted” in a bag of a suitable size, pulled and secured. It looks like a tall pot. To revive it, it is enough to paint a face on the paints and put on the “belt” figure from the old rope

Stands for flowerpots can be made from old furniture - chairs with backs, small armchairs or ordinary stools.

So, a chair with a back provides ample scope for imagination. It can be used as a stand for weaving plants or flowerpots. To do this, a hole of the desired diameter is cut in the seat, the “frame” and the back are painted, a homemade or finished flowerpot is installed

The seat can be replaced with geotextiles, where to pour soil, plant mosses and climbing plants. Long stems will braid, hide the back and legs. You will get an interesting floral decoration that can be placed in the gazebo, next to a pond or in the middle of a broken flower bed. Similarly, you can use the back of an old bed or other similar item

Unnecessary clothes and shoes can also be used as flowerpots. It is enough to sew the legs of old jeans, fill it with earth and hang it up - this is a finished flower garden. True, he will last a very short time, but with benefit. An excellent decoration of the garden will be a "flower pot" from an old sneaker or boot.

Torn sneakers do not have to be carried to landfill. Fill them with soil and plant bright flowers. They will delight the eye all season

Use old clothes to create a scarecrow! Scarecrows have not been used for a long time to scare away birds, but they may well become the highlight of the landscape. To create such a figure, you will need pants, a shirt, any headdress, a small packing bag or pillowcase, stuff for stuffing, sewing accessories. The frame can be made of two bars - long and short.

On a long bar you need to fill a short one at a height of 1.7 m (it will look like a cross). Pack a white bag or pillowcase to fill with straw or nitron and give the shape of a ball. It will be a stuffed head. They put it on top of a pole.

It remains only to attach and paint with markers to get a face. Hair can be made from ropes or straw. Now it remains to “put” the scarecrow in a shirt and trousers, chop them with studs and stuff them with filler. On the head - a hat.

If there are no suitable materials for creating scarecrow hair, you can use ordinary plastic bags. They are simply cut into strips and attached to the cloth head with sewing pins.

For completeness, you can make a scarecrow “hands” from old gloves or mittens. If a scarecrow is made not just for decorative purposes, but to fight birds pecking the crop, you can add a “frightening effect” by attaching old CDs to the hands of the figures. Under the breath of wind, they will rotate, gleam and drive away birds.

How to make a pond from an unnecessary bath?

All or almost all summer residents dream of a pond on the site. Even the smallest artificial pond seems like an oasis of coolness in the summer heat. You can buy a ready-made container in a specialized store, or you can use the old bathtub left after the repair. Having ennobled it with a natural stone and planted greens around the reservoir, you will create a real masterpiece.

If you simply bury the bath in the ground and decorate it with flowers, it will look relatively pretty, but it will not cause delight. But if you collect the stones remaining after the arrangement of the well or the pit, and venerate them with unnecessary plumbing, you can simultaneously get rid of the bath, not remove the stones from the site and at the same time get a luxurious landscape decor. As a binder for laying stone, you can take a cement frost-resistant mixture for outdoor use.

Work order:

  1. You need to dig a hole to fit the bathtub, install plumbing and cement.
  2. When the cement site with the tank is ready, lay a decorative stone slide.
  3. The remaining stones are laid around an improvised pond and cemented.
  4. When the cement dries, water is collected in the bathtub or left empty to collect rainwater.

After all, the area around the stone pond is decorated with vegetation, flowers, benches are set up or left in their original form.

The finished pond retains the shape of the bath. If desired, it can be modeled using stones. It is best to choose a form that allows you to conveniently clean the pond from debris and dirt.

Swan flowerpot from a bottle and putty

Near the stone pond, you can place a couple of wonderful swans, for the manufacture of which construction waste and two 5-liter plastic bottles will be needed.

A frame for the body of a swan will be a cut bottle of a square shape, which for weighting is filled with cement-sand mortar or any other filler. The neck is made of a metal rod. It is bent in the form of the number 2, inserted into the neck of the bottle and fixed.

The neck is one of the most difficult parts. To securely fix the rod, you can use tile glue. And for the correct finish of the neck putty useful ordinary medical bandage. It is soaked and wrapped around each new layer, pressing it to the base

Pieces of mesh cut off in the shape of wings are attached to the bottle. The finished frame is finished with putty. The hardest thing is the formation of the neck and head from putty, you will have to be patient to make them beautiful and smooth.

A tail is made from a piece of the same mesh and putty. When the work is completely dry, it needs to be sanded with sandpaper and painted, and the weighting agent removed from the bottle to get a recess.

A swan figurine is not a simple decoration for a garden or artificial pond. Plants with a shallow root system can be planted in it. It will turn out a beautiful flowerpot, ideal for installation near a stone pond from a bath

What can be done from construction waste?

After the repair is complete, there are always a lot of different wastes. Almost all of them can be used to equip the site. Even construction debris is not useless.

For example, from a tile removed from a wall in a kitchen or bathroom, you can lay out beautiful garden paths or borders. Used plasterboard or plastic is quite suitable for creating useful and aesthetic crafts.

Option # 4 - thermal insulation materials

The remains of foil insulation are useful in creating garden figures. They can trim the outside of the sculptures. The foil surface glares beautifully in the sun and highlights the craft against the backdrop of the garden. However, for a heater there may be a more practical application - thermal insulation of greenhouses, utility rooms.
